Why do I need to pre-book? Can I buy tickets at the attraction?
To ensure you have the best experience possible, we have limited the number of visitors that can visit the Studio Tour at any one time. This means that you will need to book into a timeslot ahead of your visit. As spaces are limited, we strongly suggest you reserve tickets early for your preferred date and time.
What times can I contact the Studio Tour?
Our Visitor Services Team are available daily:
Monday – Friday: 8am-6pm
Weekends and Bank Holidays: 10am-5pm
(Please note the Visitor Services Team will be unavailable on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.)
How many people does a family ticket cover?
A family ticket permits entry for two adults and two children, or one adult and three children.
I bought a family ticket for one adult and three children and I would like to change this to two adults and two children. As this is the same price, do I need to change my ticket?
There is no need to change your ticket – simply inform us when you arrive at the attraction.
We haven't booked a ticket for a young child in our party and need to add one to our booking. What shall I do?
If you have forgotten to book a ticket for a member of your party who is aged four and under, you do not need to contact us before arrival. Simply visit our Information Desk upon arrival to let a member of staff know and they will be happy to issue you with a ticket.
Is there a maximum number of children one adult can bring?
For safety reasons and to ensure our visitors get the most out of their visit, we would recommend that one adult is responsible for no more than six children.
Why are tickets now available for days that were previously sold out? My tickets say non-refundable – how is this possible?
Occasionally visitors change their plans and pay a £10 administration fee to amend their tickets subject to availability, as per our terms and conditions.
Can I alter the date of my ticket(s) once purchased?
Yes, you can alter the date of your ticket(s) for a £10 administration fee. To do this, please call our Visitor Services Team on 0845 084 0900 and make sure you have your booking confirmation to hand. Please note that all date changes are subject to availability and must be made before the date of your tour.
Do I need to print my confirmation email or can I show this to you on my smart phone?
There is no need to print your confirmation email if you would prefer to use your smart phone to show this to us. To redeem your tickets you will need your booking confirmation and a form of official ID (driving licence, passport or bank card). Please note that if you are travelling by car, you will need your booking confirmation to enter the car park.
What should I do if I have not received my booking confirmation email?
If you have not received your booking confirmation email, please call our Visitor Services Team on 0845 084 0900 and they will be able to resend this. Your booking confirmation email is not a ticket and if you have chosen to collect your tickets at the attraction, you will still need to do so.
What credit cards do you take as payment?
We accept Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard and American Express.
Can I pay by cheque?
We are happy to accept cheques from registered charities, county councils and schools within the UK. To make a booking and arrange cheque payment please contact our Visitor Services Team on 0845 084 0900.
Do you accept foreign currency at the attraction?
No, we only accept pound sterling.
I regularly organise group outings; do you offer any discounts?
Yes, we offer group discounts for groups of 10 people or more. Please visit our Ticket Calculator for more information.
Do I need to have a Souvenir Guidebook before I arrive for my visit? Is this a map of the attraction?
Our Souvenir Guidebook will help you to remember your magical experience forever. It’s full of in-depth information about the Harry Potter film series including many behind-the-scenes secrets and beautiful photography. You do not need to purchase a Souvenir Guidebook prior to your visit, but you can pre-order to collect with your tickets on arrival. Alternatively, you can pick one up from our Studio Shop during your visit for just £9.95.
Do you offer refunds?
Our tickets are non-refundable; however we can alter the date of your tickets for a £10 administration fee. To do this, please call our Visitor Services Team on 0845 084 0900 and make sure you have your booking confirmation to hand. Please note that all date changes are subject to availability and must be made before the date of your tour.
How do you get to the Studio Tour London by road?
We are located less than three miles from Junction 6 of the M1 and less than three miles from Junction 19 or 20 of the M25 - the attraction is clearly signposted from these exits.
Where’s the nearest car park?
We have a free car park onsite which is a short walk away from the entrance to the Studio Tour. We have designated coach and disabled parking, just ask a member of our Car Parking Team for assistance on arrival.
Are there any drop-off points close to the Studio Tour?
Yes, there is a drop-off and pick-up point in our onsite car park. We recommend that you plan to arrive 20 minutes before your allocated timeslot for drop-offs. If you miss your timeslot we cannot guarantee entry.
Are there any local taxi firms you recommend?
If you require a taxi from the Studio Tour, please visit our Information Desk where a member of staff will have a list of local taxi numbers and a phone for you to use.
What's the nearest train station to the Studio Tour?
The nearest railway station is Watford Junction and direct trains from both London Euston (20 minute journey) and Birmingham New Street (one hour journey) arrive there. Other non-direct train services operate from London Euston but these may take longer to arrive at Watford Junction.
Regular shuttle buses, operated by Mullany's Coaches, run from Watford Junction to the Studio Tour with a journey time of around 15 minutes. Please plan to arrive at Watford Junction 45 minutes before the time stated on your ticket and have your ticket or booking confirmation ready when boarding the shuttle bus.

You do not need to pre-book your shuttle bus ticket(s) as they can only be purchased from the bus driver on the day.
Kings Langley station is three miles away from the Studio Tour, therefore we do not advise visitors to walk from there. Instead, please go to Watford Junction and take the shuttle bus.

Is Warner Bros. Studio Tour London a theme park?
The Studio Tour isn't a theme park and as such doesn't feature rides or experiences of this nature. We offer visitors the ultimate opportunity to step on to authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore the behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter film series.
Do you have a cloakroom?
Yes, coats and bags can be left in our cloakroom free of charge for the duration of your visit. Please note that we are unable to store food in our cloakroom.

How long is my visit expected to last?
The average visit to the Studio Tour lasts approximately three and a half hours, although there is no limit imposed on your time at the attraction. You can also spend time relaxing in our Studio Café or browsing gifts and souvenirs in our Studio Shop.
Can I take a pushchair or buggy around with me?
We welcome pushchairs and buggies into the attraction but can only accommodate a limited number per time slot. With this in mind, we recommend that where possible pushchairs and buggies are left in our free cloakroom. We cannot permit double buggies into the Studio Tour.
Can I bring a pet to the Studio Tour?
We welcome all registered guide dogs, hearing dogs and medical alert dogs into the Studio Tour. If your dog requires a water bowl, please ask a member of staff who will be happy to provide one. Pets are not allowed on site and cannot be left in vehicles for safety reasons. The nature of the attraction means that visitors cannot return to the car park until the end of their visit.
Are there baby changing and food/milk warming facilities?
We have baby changing facilities on site and can provide hot water for heating up bottles within the Studio Café.
Is there a minimum age restriction?
The Studio Tour is suitable for all ages and children aged four and under can visit for free, although they will require a ticket.
Is there a minimum height restriction for anything in the Studio Tour?
No, everyone can enjoy the attraction irrespective of height.
Can I bring a camera or video camera?
There are lots of exciting photo opportunities throughout the attraction to ensure you take home an everlasting memory. The taking of photographs and video footage with handheld cameras and mobile devices is allowed in most areas, apart from within the pre-show cinema and green screen areas. Filming with the use of professional flashes, tripods and other specialist photographic equipment is not permitted.

What do I do if my camera runs out of battery?
You can buy AA and AAA batteries from our Information Desk in our lobby.
Are there any photo opportunities at the Studio Tour?
Yes, there are lots of exciting photo opportunities throughout the tour to ensure that you take home an everlasting memory. You will be able to see the green screen technology that made Harry and his friends fly and have a go yourself. At the end of this experience you will have the opportunity to take your flight home with you by purchasing a DVD or USB of your entire flight, or a souvenir photo on your chosen background.
I have forgotten to collect my photograph, DVD or USB, what should I do?
If you have paid for your photograph, DVD or USB and have forgotten to collect it, please contact our Visitor Services Team on 0845 084 0900 and they will be able to arrange for this to be sent out to you.
Can I withdraw money at the Studio Tour?
Yes, we have a cash machine in our lobby which offers free cash withdrawals
Do you have a café at the Studio Tour?
We do have Studio Café and Starbucks at the Studio Tour, situated in our lobby. We offer fresh food with both gluten and nut free products. For more information please visit our Refreshments page.
Can I eat my own food at the Studio Tour?
You are welcome to bring your own food to consume in our backlot area or outside picnic area.
Can I smoke whilst visiting the Studio Tour?
Yes. Although the Studio Tour is predominantly an indoor attraction and smoking is strictly prohibited in these areas, we do have designated smoking areas outside our main entrance and in our backlot.
Please note we do not sell cigarettes on site.
Can I arrive in the morning if my time slot is in the afternoon?
We do not recommend arriving earlier than 20 minutes before your allotted time slot as we cannot guarantee entry any earlier than that printed on your ticket. You can enjoy refreshments in our Studio Café or explore our Studio Shop before your Tour if you wish to.
We hold on to all lost property for a limited time. If you have lost an item whilst visiting, please contact our Visitor Services Team as soon as possible. Sending lost property out will be subject to postal charges depending upon the size and weight of the package. The Studio Tour accepts no responsibility for lost items.
Can I purchase gift tickets?
Yes, we do offer gift tickets which make great presents for your family and friends. Please note that your chosen recipient will be required to book their time slot by calling our Visitor Services Team on 0845 084 0900 prior to their visit. For further information please see our Gift Tickets page.
Are gift tickets posted in plain envelopes? I don’t want to spoil the surprise.
Don’t worry – your secret will be safe with us as all gift tickets are posted in plain wrapping. Please note that the name which is entered under ‘delivery details’ will appear on the envelope.
I have a gift ticket. Do I need to book a date and time slot?
Your gift ticket confirmation letter or email will tell you how many people your gift ticket is valid for. The recipient named on this confirmation must call our Visitor Services Team on 0845 084 0900 in order to reserve a date and time to visit.
Can I shop before and after my tour?
Yes, our Studio Shop is available to access before and after you enter the Studio Tour. If you arrive earlier than your allocated time slot, we are happy for you to browse the gifts and souvenirs in our Studio Shop.
Can I leave my shopping in the cloakroom?
Yes. Purchases from the Studio Shop can be left in our cloakroom free of charge while you explore the Studio Tour.
Can I arrive on site simply to visit the shop?
A valid ticket for the date of your visit is required to visit the Studio Shop, as this is part of the attraction.
The booking is not in my name- will I still be able to collect the tickets?
The original purchaser of the tickets or gift tickets can contact our Visitor Services Team on 0845 084 0900 to add any additional names to the booking. Once your name has been added, you can then bring along your ID on the day to collect the tickets.
The date I want to visit does not have any availability. Do you hold back tickets/ are we able to purchase tickets on the day?
The calendar on our website displays our current ticket availability. We do not hold back additional tickets for sale over the phone or on the day.
Is WiFi available at the Studio Tour?
