Ticket Information

Why do I need to pre-book?

To ensure you have the best experience possible, we limit the number of visitors entering the Studio Tour at any one time.  This means that you will need to book into a time slot ahead of your visit. As spaces are limited, we strongly suggest booking tickets through one of our approved ticket distributors listed as early as possible to secure your preferred date and time.

How do I book tickets?

You can purchase tickets through one of our approved ticket distributors to create your own packaged tour.  Please note that tickets must be sold as part of a package and cannot be re-sold directly on a standalone basis.

Alternatively, if you are interested in becoming a trade partner contact us.

Where do I collect the tickets on the day for my group?

On arrival at the Studio Tour, present your booking confirmation to one of our team at the ticket window, which is located next to our main entrance.  If you are travelling by coach, we recommend that large groups remain on the vehicle whilst the tour leader collects the tickets.

Do you offer complimentary tickets?

If you are travelling by coach, we offer a complimentary ticket for the coach driver. Please note, in order to become eligible for a complimentary ticket, coach drivers will be required to provide industry recognised identification.

Do you offer complimentary tickets for Blue Badge Guides?

Although we do not offer complimentary entrance for Blue Badge Guides, they are welcome to enjoy our Studio Café if they are not entering the attraction. We do allow Blue Badge Guides to assist their own tour groups through the Studio Tour.

Tour Information

How long does the tour last?

The average visit to the Studio Tour lasts approximately three and a half hours, although there is no limit imposed on your time at the attraction.

Can coach groups arrive on-site earlier than their booked time slot?

Due to limited coach parking facilities, we are unable to allow groups onto the site until 30 minutes prior to their allocated time slot. We appreciate that this is traffic permitting, but ask that you endeavor to arrive no earlier than this.

Can groups enter the Studio Tour earlier than the given time slot?

We do not recommend arriving earlier than 30 minutes before the allotted time slot as we cannot guarantee entry for early arrivals. Before entering the Studio Tour, your clients have the option to enjoy refreshments in our Studio Café, explore our Studio Shop or collect a Digital Guide.

Do you offer guided tours?

The Studio Tour is self-guided and at present we do not offer guided tours.

We are delighted to provide the opportunity for coach drivers to relax in a dedicated room, offering TV, complimentary hot drinks and free Wi-Fi.

Our coach parking is free of charge and available close to the Studio Tour entrance.

Your clients will also benefit from free Wi-Fi and a cloakroom.

In the lobby, your clients can enjoy our Studio Café which serves a range of hot and cold refreshments. This is accessible before or after your Tour.

Our backlot area is half-way around the Studio Tour, this is your clients opportunity to enjoy a frothy Butterbeer; this non-alcoholic beverage is reminiscent of shortbread and butterscotch. Your clients are welcome to bring their own food to consume in our backlot area or our outside picnic area, which is available before and after your tour.

Unfortunately, refreshments or tables in the Studio Café cannot be pre-booked.

Taking Photos

There are lots of exciting photo opportunities throughout the attraction, giving you the chance to take home an everlasting memory.

Taking photographs and capturing video footage with handheld cameras and mobile devices is allowed in most areas of the Studio Tour, apart from the pre-show cinema and green screen areas. Please note, filming with the use of tripods and other specialist photographic equipment is not permitted.

If you are a member of the press, please contact our press centre for further information.
